Where did that little blue dot go?! When walking or driving with Apples a href= target=_hplinkbuilt-in Maps app/a, powered by Google Maps, the moving blue dot is supposed to be the users location...but occasionally its not. When service is sketchy, this GPS function might say you are blocks away from where you really are. Plus, the estimated time of arrival can be very optimistic, meaning iPhone users who think their journey will take 20 minutes are typically about 20 minutes late. Hopefully Apple can solve these issues when it a href= target=_hplinkrolls out its very own Maps app/a with iOS 6 this ll.

Yahoo notes that while the game might be an attempt at female empowerment, it comes off as anything but.

I hate how this game is so abusive I understand its just a game but kids play this and u dont want this to be an influence on them, wrote another.

Game play features an animated girlfriend character, which the user controls and uses to train the boyfriend character. The player advances through the game by physically abusing the boyfriend.

This iPhone feature doesnt do much. Supposedly itll organize your life into uncomplicated to-do lists, but we typically find ourselves using a href= target=_hplinkNotes/a or a href= target=_hplinkiCal/a instead. Someone please remind us why we should use a href= target=_hplinkReminders/a? Nope... you cant remember either.

Reactions from reviewers in the iTunes store ranged from the disgusted to the irritated.

So wheres the Girlfriend Trainer app? You know, the one where the boyfriend gets to bh-slap his girlfriend all over the place? Oh wait, Apple wouldnt approve an app like that, would they? This is equally offensive IMHO, wrote one reviewer.

14 hours ago (10:20 PM) This game needs better graphics and sound effects. Then it would be a best seller. It should eventually allow voice control to add to the abuse.

iPhone and Android users can agree: a href= target=_hplinkFacebooks mobile app/a is universally dysfunctional. We could go on and on about what irks us, but one of our biggest gripes has to be the push notifications. Theyre supposed to alert us to new messages or events, yet we frequently find were being informed about old activity. Oh, and if you try to click through different features or menus too quickly, the apps bound to crash. Dislike.

These humorless mascinists just take everything too seriously. Cant a woman have any good clean fun anymore and kid around without these radical males taking offense at nothing? ROFL

YouTube on the web? The best. a href= target=_hplinkYouTube for mobile/a? The pits: The search function is horrible, and too many videos dont play correctly (if at all) on both Android and iPhone devices. 13 hours ago (11:27 PM) Ive never been in a violent relationship, and I cant thom who, on either side, puts up with that. I cant think of any girl/woman Ive ever dated who would find this amusing.

Various lessons give the girlfriend advice along the way. Girlfriends dont like their boyfriends to look at other girls. About time he got the message. Slap him silly, reads one levels instructional introduction.

14 hours ago (10:36 PM) As a man, I am not offended by this game. Im not going to ke outrage that if this had been a game wherein a male protagonist hits a woman, it never would have been accepted to the app store. Why? Because its just a stupid game, and Ive played enough stupid games to know that they arent meant to encourage the behavior depicted therein. Its a joke, and I like politically incorrect jokes, even when theyre at mens expense.

We love our a href= target=_hplinkGmail app/a. We do. But those of us who use it on the iPhone are pretty sore that we still cant switch easily between two Gmail accounts. The Android users among us dont have to worry about this; but, just like the rest of us, they do find themselves cursing the app when it ils to sync with Googles servers (something that always seems to happen when were expecting an important email).

14 hours ago (10:06 PM) This is a terrible game, what it says is that its OK to hit your boyfriend, but not the other way around. When they make the version where the boyfriend smacks the girlfriend, I want to see how quickly it gets pulled out or not even approved by Apple.

Developed by Games2win, the application is available for download in Apples iTunes App Store. The following description is posted on the apps iTunes page:

Apple has a notoriously strict policy for approving new apps. According to BuzzFeed, the App Store claims to ban applications that depict violence or abuse of children, and those involving realistic depictions of weapons in such a way as to encourage illegal or reckless use of such weapons. Despite these rules, shocking apps have been known to slip past the App Stores ship process, such as the horrifying Baby Shaker game, which Apple pulled in 2009 after outrage from advocacy groups.

Sure, iPhone shes entertaining enough. But does a href= target=_hplinkSiri/a really help with our daily lives? Not that much, no.
