The World Is Not Enough titles with Dreams by The Cranberries

Some thing has found us.

Theres also a message at the end of the credits. Two actually. One forwards, another when played in reverse.

Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.

Meet James Bond, secret agent 007. His new incredible women. His new incredible enemies. His new incredible adventures!

Oh, and if youre curious about Quarrel Jr, its because Live And Let Die is the second book, and Dr. No. is the sixth. Quarrel is in both books, but since he died in the adaptation, we get Quarrel Jr. For this movie. Not that he does a bad job or anything though.

Thank you Wikipedia for the above information. Because Im too lazy to do all that myself. 21 Grams is a beautiful (though sad) look at the meaning of life, and how it affects others when its taken away. Its definitely not a feel good movie, thats for sure. Despite its depressing plot, its so well done and that I had to include it.

Written By: Richard Maibaum, Johanna Harwood, Berkely Mather

Starring: Anna Faris, Danny Masterson, Adam Brody, John Krasinski, John Cho, Danny Trejo, Jane Lynch, Roscoe Lee Browne

George puts in a good effort in his single entry, quitting the role before the films release. To this day, opinion on the film remains divided. I happen to be a part of the camp that adores this movie. Its got one of the best plots, sets, costumes, music, and script. Its also got one of the best relationships with Miss Moneypenny. If this was just a regular movie, and not a Bond film, I think everyone would love it a whole lot more.

When opening day came, it was unlike any theater experience Ive ever had. Everyone was dead silent from beginning to end. People in New York lost their cause of the way it realistically showed their city destroyed barely 6 years after 9/11. The first couple incidents (and everyones reaction, along with first response teams) is constructed to be as real as possible.

A young couple are terrorized by three masked assailants, who break into their remote summer home and damage all means of escape.

Roger Moore starts his reign as Bond with a blaxploitation and voodoo filled adventure from Harlem to New Orleans to the Caribbean. Its an interesting take on Bond. For the first time, hes really an outsider in the world hes investigating. The plot remains low key, but that doesnt make the film any less awesome. We have a boat chase with a record breaking jump, groovy score, Jane Seymour, and a plane/car chase. Plus the inspiration for Dr. Evils unnecessarily slow dipping mechanism. And if youre a n of Archer, then the poster should look miliar.

Editing: Peter Hunt

Bond is dispatched to Japan after American and Soviet manned spacecraft disappear mysteriously in orbit. With each nation blaming the other amidst the Cold War, Bond travels secretly to a remote Japanese island in order to find the perpetrators and comes ce to ce with Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the head of SPECTRE.

An eventful day in the life of Jane F, an unambitious young actress who enjoys smoking and lives with her somewhat disturbing roommate Steve. Janes teful day begins when she unknowingly consumes an entire plate full of special cupcakes. Realizing her mistake, she makes a list of tasks she must achieve, and how she plans to make them happen.

Bond impersonates a diamond smuggler to infiltrate a smuggling ring, uncovering a plot by Blofeld to use the diamonds to build a giant laser. Bond has to battle his nemesis for one last time, in order to stop the smuggling and stall Blofelds plan of destroying Washington DC, and extorting the world with nuclear supremacy.

Smoke Again:

The first adaptation of Ian Flemings James Bond novels, and therefore the start of cinematic Bond. Agent 007 is sent to Jamaica to investigate the death of a fellow British agent. The trail leads him to the underground base of Dr. No, who is plotting to disrupt an early American manned space launch with a radio beam weapon.

The plot is the same as YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE but with submarines instead of space capsules. Blofeld was also supposed to be the villain, but Kevin McClory raised some Hell so they had to change it.

Hey everyone! I have a hobby. I take the title sequences to Bond films and replace the real music with a song of my choosing. Then I make the video match the new music. It actually turns out well most of the time. People seem to like them, so I thought Id share them on here.

This is one of the most complex Bond films, therefore a strong high is not recommend unless youre already miliar with this movie. That being said, it is one of the best in the series. It sold the most tickets, and its the highest grossing entry in the series if you adjust for inflation. Seriously. In 2013 dollars, Thunderball made over 602 Million. Skyll, the latest film, made half that.

In Japan, a village is attacked by a demon. Aaka kills the demon, but not before it curses his right arm. The village oracle tells Aaka that he may find a cure in the western lands. Soon Aaka becomes involved in the struggle between the supernatural guardians of a forest and the humans of the Iron Town who consume its resources.

Bond investigates smuggling by gold magnate Auric Goldfinger and eventually uncovers his plan to irradiate the Bullion Depository at Fort Knox, it worthless and him richer.

For starters, its the first movie to have an original story. The book is told from the point of view of the Bond girl. Bond himself isnt around much. Fleming wasnt too fond of the book, and sold the rights on the condition that only the title can be used. Harry Saltzman had sold his share of ownership in 1975, this the first film without his involvement.

Set in the neon-lit nightclub environments of Tokyo, the story follows Oscar, a young American drug dealer who gets shot by the police, but continues to watch succeeding events during an out-of-body experience. The film is shot from a first-person viewpoint, which often floats above the city streets, and occasionally features Oscar staring over his own shoulder as he recalls moments from his past.

Once you hit play. You sit and stare at the screen in silence. Ideally the only light should be coming from the TV. Dont get up. No pausing. No phones. If you wanna get real freaky, no clocks.

Not much more needs to be said. A bunch of people talk about what movies mean to them, and why they think they need to be preserved. It offers some scinating insights and raises some pretty good debates about preservation vs alteration. If you want to know why I love movies so much, definitely check this one out.

Smart, deep, kick-ass. That about sums this movie up. A star studded cast tells an environmental cautionary tale through ancient Japanese mythology. This movie is quite an experience. From the vivid animation to the complex dialogue. This movie will not be ignored.

But for the most part, the cast is great. Christopher Lee is the films saving grace, Along with John Barrys score. Maud Adams is good in her first round as Bond girl. Shell be back later in Octopussy.

In the summer of 2007, that trailer was played before Transformers. And that was it. No title, cast, plot clues, nothing. Just a release date and that JJ Abrams was producing. What followed was a 6 month long viral marketing campaign (that I followed religiously) that slowly uncovered the mystery of That 1-18-08 movie because it didnt have a title for a few months.

The plot itself is quite . Its how its told that makes it unique. A few friends throw a surprise going away party for their friend Rob. Among them is Hud, who has been put in charge of documenting the night with Robs camera. During the party, something attacks the city. Beth, Robs ex, calls him, saying shes hurt and needs his help. This sets them off on a journey to save Beth and get out of the city.

What is fight club? This movie cannot be explained. You must see it for yourself. Its anti-capitalist, pro mens rights, lots of bare knuckle fighting, homoerotic overtones, all told within the frame of your typical love story. This is one of the movies that made me want to get into the industry. Id even go as r as to call it my vorite movie. Ever.

2) When Eliot offers to help Jack.

It just seems like the movie and script are going through the motions. Not surprisingly, its the last time two movies come it in consecutive years. Another not so big surprise is that the producers took and extra year to make The Spy WhoLoved Me. And it shows.

Even with all of that, its still pretty awesome. Its my vorite Roger Moore entry, and it still remains on the grandest ones in the series.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. This movie. Its not a movie. Its an experience. Its unlike anything Ive ever seen, and Ive seen a metric assload of movies. As soon as youre done reading this, grab a friend and load this up. I say grab a friend because its best not to watch it alone. Pick someone special too, cause youre about to bond over the event that is watching this. And yes, it is an event. Seriously. Find a way to see this and do it. Youll transcend to a higher plane of existence while tripping balls. And that is why this movie gets a spot.

Anna Faris gets super high, eats pot cupcakes, smokes again, and then goes about her day. Some of the items on Janes plan: replace the cupcakes, pay power bill, return the communist manifesto, go to an audition, pay her dealer, save her bed, and of course, buy more pot.

Thats really the whole point of this blog. To remind you that everyone (including you) is capable of feeling something. Sometimes we just have to reminded in a terrible way.

Welcome to the Stoner Cinema! What is this? Its a guide to watching the most kickass movies you can, The stoner channel while ripped out of your skull. Ill be providing you with things to watch and how to watch them. The key point here is trust. If the instructions say to smoke, you smoke. If they say lights off, turn them off. Sometimes, you might even have homework or research (Not a lot, I promise). If you follow the guide, youll have the best time any one could ever have. So start browsing.

James Bond is sent to assist in the defection of Soviet consulate clerk Tatiana Romanova to receive a top secret decoder, Unkown to Bond, its a trap where SPECTRE plans to avenge Bonds killing of Dr. No.

film in in the series brings Bond back with a bang. This is one of my vorites, and its got a bunch of fun cts I can share with you.

Happy holidays everybody! I got you a present! Its called Smiley Face and it is the greatest stoner movie of all time.

A few fun cts: There is no score. All music is diagetic (Its coming from a placeable source and the characters can hear it.) The only original composition is the music over the end credits, and even that doesnt start until about 90 seconds in. Another ct is that movie is about the same length as an average mini DV (digital video) tape. Which is what this movie was shot on. The trailer above was shot before the movie. The actual movie started production afterward. Several actors didnt know what they what auditioning for, and only saw the script when they signed on.

What did you want out of life? Did you end up with what you wanted? Or are you crossing over with regrets? Thats one of the concepts of this movie. It deals with grief, loss, and dealing with death. Each actor plays their part like a total boss.

This is Casino Royale with Better Of Two Evils by Marilyn Manson.

Instructions: You dont have to get too high for this one. Hit play, new york asian escorts smoke up (preferably via low powered device) and watch.

This entry is more stylized, caring more about looking pretty than actually being a good movie. Not to say that its bad, but being a Bond movie probably helped it out a lot. This is the inspiration for many spy parodies, notably Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworh. The first Austin Powers movie borrows a lot of material from this and the other 60s movies. As long as you dont think to much, youll have a pretty good time.

This movie was made for us. Ive seen it at a [0], at a [10], and every number in between. Its got some top notch acting and direction. The extremely plot captures your attention and sucks you in. Faris gets props from me, beautiful playing someone whos way too high. One could almost call it a cautionary tale, warning us of the danger of trying to function in society while too high. In any case, you should get as high as Jane F and check this out.

As a kid, I lived in a house on a street in the middle of nowhere. One night, while our parents were out, somebody knocked on the front door and my little sister answered it. At the door were some people asking for somebody who didnt live there. We later found out that these people were knocking on doors on the area and, if no one was home, breaking into the houses.

Starring: Zooey Deschanel, John Lasseter, Leonard Maltin, Christopher Nolan, Rob Reiner, Debbie Reynolds, Tim Roth, George Takei, John Waters

The second entry in the Bond series. Chosen because of JFKs love of the novel, it was the last film he saw, just days before his assassination. The cold war heavy story would later be copied by other Bond films (For Your Eyes Only especially). Episodes of Archer also borrowed from this movie (combining them with On Her Majestys Secret Service).

And then theres the soundtrack itself. Its actually really awesome. So awesome that Blame Canada was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Trey and Matt showed up to ceremony in replicas of dresses worn by Gwyneth Paltrow and J-Lo, tripping on acid. They ended up losing to Phil Collins, who won for Tarzans Youll Be in My Heart.

Movies are more than moving pictures with sound. Its an art form. They have so much to teach us. You just have to look past the suce. Once you do, youll understand my obsession with them. And why I want to make them.

Bond is investigating the death of three British agents, leading him to a Harlem drug lord known as Mr. Big, who plans to distribute two tons of heroin free to put rival drug barons out of business. Bond soon finds himself trapped in a world of gangsters and voodoo as he fights to put a stop to the drug barons scheme.

Here you go.

The title refers to the early 20th century research of Dr. Duncan MacDougall which attempted to show scientific proof of the existence of the immortal human soul by recording a small loss of body weight immediately following death. The research by MacDougall attempted to follow the scientific method and showed some variance in results (21 grams is the reported weight loss from the death of the first patient). His final report has not been recognized by the scientific community, neither at the time nor since. The film presents MacDougalls findings as accepted scientific ct as a form of dramatic license.

Cinematography: Ted Moore

1) When Bond breaks into the safe.

A ticking-time-bomb insomniac and a slippery soap salesman channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground fight clubs forming in every town, until an eccentric woman gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.

The Casino Royale of the 60s. After the Connera era ended with volcano liars, Dr. Evil, and world domination everyone decided to tone the next movie down a bit. With a new actor and some fresh crew members they set out to make the closest adaptation of a Fleming novel to date. Its the first movie to really shake things up, and it works quite well.

Its a very real fear for everyone. That youre not safe in your own home. That people are trying to get you and you cant escape, youre all alone, and theres no one else to help you. Its one of the movies to really freak me out, and thats saying something.

Oh, did I mention that its inspired by true events? Because it is. The first being the Keddie Cabin Murders that happened in 1981, and also by an experience Bryan Bertino had in his childhood.

Director: Terence Young

Because you were home. Yep, thats all the motivation we get when 3 strangers terrorize Arwen and her boyfriend. It starts off with one of them knocking on the door and asking for someone who doesnt live there. Then they slowly move in, and before you can say lock the door (which they do) theyre inside the house. That scene in the poster is probably one of the creepiest and most unsettling things Ive seen in a long time. In case you cant tell, thats one of them standing behind Liv Tyler. And as just as quick as they came, theyre gone. Only to come back and make their presence known.

Bond is sent after the Solex Agitator, a device that can harness the power of the sun. Meanwhile cing the assassin Francisco Scaramanga, who has Bond in his sights.

The movie is interesting because the audience knows as much as the characters the whole time. Nothing is explained. All the background for this Godzilla+Blair Witch adventure was given during the viral marketing before release.

This is THE Bond. Whenever someone mentions 007, they think of gold chicks, crotch lasers, a pun name, and a take over the world plot. This movie has all of those things. It cemented every Bond trope for the rest of the series. Almost every movie after follows a similar structure to this one. Even its story would be copied twenty years later with A View To A Kill. If youre going to introduce someone to James Bond, this is the movie to show.

21 Grams interweaves several plot lines (in a non-linear arrangement) of a critically ill academic mathematician, a grief-stricken mother, and a born-again ex-convict whose ith is tested all around the consequences (before and after) of a tragic automobile accident.

century. Archer absorbs some of the story for its season 4 finale, along with elements from The Abyss.

The full length movie of the TV series. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny have to save the world before Kyles mom causes the apocalypse in this animated musical. The movie definitely ups the size and scope of the show. It does it in such an epic way that one could almost take it seriously. Trey and Matt do most of the acting, getting help with cameos from George Clooney, Minnie Driver, Dave Foley, Eric Idle, Nick Rhodes, and Mike Judge.

I have another video uploaded! This one is the Die Another Day title sequence with The Chauffuer by the Deftones. (Originally done by Duran Duran) Enjoy!

Fun Facts: This is only movie where England is not featured. Its also the only one where Bond doesnt drive. This movie also takes place primarily in one country, another unusual aspect.

Bond must find two NATO atomic bombs stolen by SPECTRE, which holds the world ransom for 100 million in diamonds, in exchange for not destroying Miami.

Bond ces Blofeld, who is planning to sterilize the worlds food supply through a group of brainwashed angels of death unless his demands are met. Along the way, Bond meets, lls in love with, and eventually marries Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo.

1) When Paul finds Annas wrecked car at the police station.

The film plays out almost like Hitchcock. A political mystery at one of the tensest times of the Cold War. This film has more of the Bond elements (pre-titles, Q and his gadgets). Its definitely one of my vorites.

Fight Club is based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk. Its a great read. The book almost plays out like a rough draft of the movie. The same things happen, some just in different ways. A lot of subplots and characters, and story elements were streamlined, for a ster pace. The only major difference is the ending, which even then follows the same principals. I (and Chuck) happen to like the movie better.

Smoke Again:

After a fight with her boyfriend (Long), Anna (Ricci) gets into a car wreck. She then wakes up in a funeral home, where the mortician (Neeson) informs her she is dead and that its time to prepare her for her funeral. At least thats what he says.

Bond kills a female Soviet agents lover, then must team up with her to stop a reclusive megalomaniac from destroying the world and creating a new civilization under the sea.

Instructions: Get as high as you ing can. Bowls, blunts, bongs, whatever. Just keep smoking until you cannot physically put the device to your mouth. Then you hit play. And then you keep smoking. Seriously. You should be at a [10]+ from beginning to end.

Its also got the first theme song (by Carly Simon) not to share the same name as the movie. But it did become the second song to be nominated for Best Original Song.

Smoke Again:

Bond is my obsession, so of course Im gonna have an entry for each one. The first adventure plays out unlike most Bond movies, more of a detective story than action film. Most of the most mous Bond elements are missing or unrefined. Notably, the lack of pre-titles. Until Casino Royale 44 years later it was the only movie to have the gun barrel go into the titles. Overall, it remains high on my list.

Smoke Again: Again? Why did you stop? Seriously though, you have to be at a [10]+ from beginning to end. Whenever you get to a [9], light up.

Starring: Billy Crudup, Billy Bob Thornton, Minnie Driver, John DiMaggio, Claire Danes, John DeMita, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gillian Anderson, Keith David

A documentary film that tells the history and importance of The National Film Registry, a roll call of American cinema treasures that reflects the diversity of film, and indeed the American experience itself.

Production Design: Ken Adam

1) When theyre hanging out in the subway station. (Preferably with a high powered device.)

As someone who recently lost a mily member, I can tell you this movie is (Im guessing universally) accurate in its deception of the pain a loved one leaves behind when they die. And thats only one part of it. The rest is Christina Ricci naked, ing about how shes not dead to Liam Neeson before he tells her to shut up and deal.

Do you know what a movie cost in 1965? About a dollar. That means over 63 million tickets were sold to the 194 million people in the USA at the time. Goldfinger and Thunderball would be the first wave of Bondmania with smaller ones in the 70s, 90s, and the early 21

Im not gonna lie here. Im not too fond of this one. Neither was anybody else when it came out. Its one of the lowest grossing entries. I just find it so...bland, I guess. The locations arent the best. Theres two different plots that get a half-assed merging. The film was made during the energy crisis of the 70s, so an energy related plot was crammed in to a film about Bond tracking down the hit man who targeted him.

Meant to be the 1st Bond film, Thunderball was the center of legal disputes that began in 1961 and ran until 2006. Ian Fleming, Kevin McClory, and Jack Whittingham wrote a TV script, that became a film script in an attempt to bring Bond to the big screen. The movie never happened, and Fleming adapted the unproduced script into his ninth James Bond novel, published in 1961. Kevin McClory, sued him for plagiarism. They settled out of court in 1963. McClory retained certain screen rights to the novels story, plot, and characters. They agreed to McClorys producers credit of a cinematic Thunderball, with them as executive producers.

The four boys from South Park see a controversial R-rated movie featuring Canadians Terrance and Phillip. They then begin to curse incessantly, causing their parents to pressure the United States to wage war against Canada as a result of corrupting their children

Remember the previous Bond? The one that was more realistic and had hiss wife get murdered at the end? Apparently no one else did when they made this movie. Everyone was trying to ignore the Lazenby era. They even brought back Connery for a then record $1 million.

2) When Bond escapes from the cable car gear room.

This is one of the ones where you have to turn your brain off. While the script and acting are as thin as the its written on, it makes up for with some decent action at some great locations. The car chase on the Vegas strip remains one of my vorite action scenes in the series. The Stoner Cinema_ The stoner channelAnd Jill St. John is nice to look at as well. That being said, its solid entertainment for a couple hours. Especailly if you follow the instructions.
